Whenever you use information from another source it's a good idea to know where the information came from. It helps you judge the value of the information, and allows you to find it again if you need to check your facts or get more information later.When you use information for a report at school, showing the sources of your information is even more important. It shows your teacher and other readers that you have taken care with your information gathering, and that you can produce the original source of the information if necessary. The resources shown and linked below should help you clearly identify the sources of information in your research assignments.
