Wrestling is a Winter sport at Columbia High School. Practices for the 2009-2010 season begin November 16, 2009. Athletes must have a current physical, insurance waiver, concussion release form, and a signed athletic handbook to participate. Before competing, athletes must purchase an ASB card and pay their user's fee. For more information about student-athlete requirements, see the CHS Sports page .

After suspending the 2005-2006 season for lack of participation, CHS has been rebuilding their wrestling program under coaches Stoner Bell (06-07 and 08-09) and Rich Polkinghorn (07-08). The 2008-2009 season culminated with two wrestlers placing at state. Kevin Kreps placed 1 st at Sub-Regionals, 1st at Regionals, and 4th at State at 145 lbs. Seth Bell placed 1st at Sub-Regionals, 2nd at Regionals, and 5th at State at 189 lbs. We are looking forward to another successful season this year, ending with a trip to the State Tournament in March – Go Bruins!
