Henkle Principal named Principal of the Year

Henke Middle School's Rick George named AWSP's St. Helens Region Principal of the Year for 2007-2008

At the Association of Washington School Principals' 2008 Principals' Conference, which took place Oct. 26-28, 2008, the Association of Washington Middle Level Principals held a luncheon celebrating the regional principals of the year. Included in the group was Rick George, who was honored for being St. Helens Region Distinguished Principal of 2007-08.

Also honored at the conference -- pictured below -- were fellow principals Teresa Sinay (White River Middle School, White River SD) Kirk Dunckel (Chief Kanim Middle School, Snoqualmie Valley SD), and Nancy Coogan (Olympic View Middle School, Mukilteo).
